Privacy Policy

Last updated July 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Motiph (“Motiph,” “we,” or “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our reader application and website. By using Motiph you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

  • Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address and authentication details.
  • Your feeds and activity. The sources you subscribe to, the articles you read, and the items, highlights, and notes you save, so we can deliver and personalize the service.
  • Usage and device data. Basic technical information such as browser type and interactions, used to operate and improve Motiph.

How we use information

We use your information to provide the service — fetching your feeds, generating your daily Setlist and voice newscasts, powering search, and keeping your saved items — as well as to secure accounts, respond to support requests, and improve the product.

Service providers

Motiph relies on a small number of third parties to operate, including cloud hosting and database providers, and AI and text-to-speech providers used to analyze articles and generate newscasts. These providers process data only to perform services for us. We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention

Live article history is retained according to your plan (30, 90, or 180 days), after which older articles roll off automatically. Items you save to an album — along with their highlights and notes — are kept until you delete them.

Your choices

You can access, correct, export, or delete your account data at any time from your settings, or by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your saved items and personal data from active systems.
